IV Therapy Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IV Therapy Nurse to join our team at Rose Medical Center. As an IV Therapy Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective administration of IV medications.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer IV medications and fluids to patients as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients for signs of adverse reactions to medications and take appropriate action
  • Insert and maintain IV access devices, including central lines and peripheral IVs
  • Perform lab testing as assigned, including blood draws and urinalysis
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current PICC certification
  • 2-3 years experience in a specialty unit, with 2-3 years IV therapy and PICC experience preferred
