The Sales Manager will be responsible for selling transportation and logistics services to prospective clients, working closely with the sales team and other departments to meet customer requirements and achieve revenue targets. Key responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, identifying and targeting potential customers, establishing and maintaining client relationships, collaborating with operations teams, negotiating contracts and pricing, managing the sales pipeline, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, are required. Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce, is also an asset.
