Job Title: Registered Nurse - Detox Unit

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Detox Unit team at Addiction Treatment Services, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, including medical and social histories, vital signs, and laboratory tests.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to standard nursing practices and standing orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient-related services.
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and Medical Directors to implement orders and provide patient care.
  • Participate in on-site visits to satellite programs to conduct client appointments, medication reconciliations, and general nursing duties.
  • Maintain open communication with nursing shifts, programs, supervisors, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of related SUD or behavioral health experience and/or training preferred.
  • Current Licensed LPN or RN in the State of Michigan.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • COVID-19 vaccine.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to traverse stairs and lift up to 20 pounds.
Skills and Experience:
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Good communication, writing, and charting skills.
  • EMR experience a plus.
  • Experience with substance abuse treatment helpful.
  • Ability to multitask and de-escalate stressful situations.
