Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to deliver compassionate and individualized care to residents of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care for residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their physical and psychosocial needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and make recommendations for improving patient outcomes.
  • Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
