Licensed Practical Nurse

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to deliver patient-centered care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various nursing procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
