PACU RN Job Description

Incredible Health is actively hiring for a skilled PACU RN to join our team in the Boston, MA area. As a PACU RN, you will provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
