Job Summary

As a Leasing Team Member at Cardinal Group Companies, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales experience to our residents and prospective residents. This role requires a high-energy individual with strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing to consistently go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
Warmly greet prospective clients and professionally present the community and apartment homes
Determine needs and preferences and utilize feature/benefit selling to close the sale
Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork accurately and efficiently
Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager

Requirements

1-2 years of customer service and sales experience
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
High-energy and enjoys a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and typing ability for correspondence and memos
High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Leasing Agent or Leasing Consultant experience
Real Estate or Leasing background
Excellent customer service and sales skills

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to use hands to finger, type, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Team Member regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and climb, stoop, or squat. Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities and must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including, but not limited to rain, snow, heat, hail, wind and sleet. The Team Member must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Rare travel may be required to assist properties as needed, attend training classes or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
