Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Allergy A.R.T.S. in Texas. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will provide pharmacy services, manage inventory, and deliver pharmaceutical care under the supervision of a Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with requesting prior authorizations for medication and necessary follow-up
  • Perform limited pharmacy services and duties associated with the stocking, preparation, labeling, dispensing, and delivery of medications
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to the needs of the caller and/or direct them to the appropriate person for service
  • Communicate promptly with all appropriate team members when inventory levels are low and assist with drug purchasing and inventory control
  • Perform designated tasks regarding pharmacy quality control, management of pharmacy records, inventory control, and preparation of orders for drugs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Entry-level experience
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician (PHT) license issued by the TX Board of Pharmacy
