Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and clinical services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients, including medication therapy management and disease state management.
  • Offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
  • Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials and inventory management.
  • Engage patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, demonstrating empathy and inclusivity.
  • Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain good connections with local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and pharmacy software and technology systems.
What We Offer

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $60.00 per hour - $80.00 per hour, depending on geography, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
