Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

Maintenance Duties

  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance for machinery.
  • Collaborate with external contractors to meet company requirements, which may include preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment.
  • Identify malfunctions and engage in discussions regarding machine operation variations with coordinators or fellow maintenance personnel to diagnose issues or repair machinery.
  • Disassemble defective machinery and equipment, installing new or repaired components as necessary.
  • Clean and lubricate various parts of machinery, including shafts, bearings, and gears.
  • Install and repair electrical devices, such as transformers and wiring, along with electrical and electronic components of machinery.
  • Design, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and associated hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including the repair and replacement of gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
  • Request tools, equipment, and supplies, and install, program, or repair automated machinery.
  • Set up and operate machine tools for the repair or fabrication of machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
  • Utilize cutting torches or welding equipment for metal part fabrication or joining.
  • Construct and repair wooden structures such as counters, benches, and partitions.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution is preferred, along with three to five years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
