The role involves overseeing and assisting in the installation, upkeep, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, as well as pipe and electrical systems. A key focus is on promoting workplace safety through the execution of various responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
Maintenance Duties
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance for machinery.
- Collaborate with external contractors to meet company requirements, which may include preventative maintenance.
- Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment.
- Identify malfunctions and engage in discussions regarding machine operation variations with coordinators or fellow maintenance personnel to diagnose issues or repair machinery.
- Disassemble defective machinery and equipment, installing new or repaired components as necessary.
- Clean and lubricate various parts of machinery, including shafts, bearings, and gears.
- Install and repair electrical devices, such as transformers and wiring, along with electrical and electronic components of machinery.
- Design, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and associated hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including the repair and replacement of gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
- Request tools, equipment, and supplies, and install, program, or repair automated machinery.
- Set up and operate machine tools for the repair or fabrication of machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
- Utilize cutting torches or welding equipment for metal part fabrication or joining.
- Construct and repair wooden structures such as counters, benches, and partitions.
A Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution is preferred, along with three to five years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
