Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Manager to join our team at CSL Behring. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our Metrology Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring the technical reliability and safety of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Support

Provide guidance and support to Metrology Supervisors and Technicians to ensure the efficient operation of our metrology systems and equipment.

Process Optimization

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency, yield, and output.

Quality Assurance

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory requirements, and act as a subject matter expert during internal and external audits.

Equipment Maintenance

Oversee the maintenance and calibration of metrology equipment, and implement predictive maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs to prevent breakdowns.

Continuous Improvement

Drive LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve safety, technical compliance, and equipment/process reliability.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Metrology, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree.

Experience

4+ years of relevant experience in Metrology functions within the pharmaceutical industry, or plant engineering, machine engineering, or process engineering in pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industry.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of GMPs, audit and investigation skills, report writing skills, and ability to develop cohesive presentations.

Computer Literacy

Microsoft Office applications, Trackwise, SAP, and other relevant software.
