Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, prioritizing the needs of each patient and their family.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Assess and document patient condition, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of empathy and respect.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, as required by individual department.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred.
