About the Role:
As a Critical Care Nursing Specialist at TotalMed, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment providing specialized care to critically ill patients. With a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, our nurses work together to develop individualized care plans that cater to each patient's unique needs.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Assessing patients' conditions and monitoring vital signs to identify potential complications
• Administering medications as prescribed by medical professionals to ensure accurate treatment
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's requirements
• Performing advanced interventions to stabilize patients' health and prevent further deterioration
• Educating patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and care plans to promote informed decision-making and self-management

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
• A current RN license in good standing
• BLS certification (additional certifications may be required depending on the facility)
• At least two years of recent experience working in an ICU setting
• Strong communication and adaptability skills to navigate complex patient cases and rapidly changing healthcare environments
