We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director Psychiatrist to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mental health programs that improve patient outcomes and advance our mission to help people live healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individual evaluations based on assessment data and provide therapeutic interventions as necessary, including ongoing medication management services
- Provide consultation and health education to agency staff and clients regarding the treatment and medication needs of agency clients
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement mental health programs that address the unique needs of our patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health care and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
