Job Summary

The Registered Nurse / RN provides direct clinical patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus. This per diem night shift position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a shift-by-shift basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
  • CPR certification.
