NICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at El Paso Children's Hospital. As a NICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Support the organization's vision and mission.
- Utilize knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possess effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
- Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
- Current RN License to practice in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification within 6 months of hire.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
