About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Highway Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Towing Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty recovery vehicles and providing towing and recovery services for commercial vehicles.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy-duty recovery vehicles for towing and recovery of commercial vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Perform advanced recovery tasks, including winching and vehicle uprighting, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Respond to roadside assistance requests for jump-starts, tyre changes, lockouts, and other support services, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks for recovery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate service records and logs of towing activities, providing detailed documentation for clients and management.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of towing safety practices, equipment handling, and regulatory standards, as well as experience working with heavy-duty recovery vehicles.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty towing and recovery for commercial vehicles, with a strong understanding of advanced recovery techniques and procedures.
