Optical Dispenser

We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Dispenser to join our team at De La Pena Eye Clinic in Santa Ana, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Assist patients with selecting eyewear, taking facial measurements, and making adjustments to ensure a proper fit.
• Interview patients to determine their visual needs and interpret refractionist's prescriptions.
• Instruct and counsel patients on proper eyeglass care and enter prescription and sales information into our computerized system.
• Verify Optical Benefit coverage and dispense and adjust optical products.
• Inspect final products for accuracy and reconcile patient concerns to their satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years' experience as a dispensing optician strongly preferred.
• Graduate of an opticianry/optician training program or on-the-job training.
• ABO Certified and licensed preferred.
