We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
- Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including microscopes, spectrophotometers, and automated analyzers.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results, and to develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
