Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the dishwashing machine is consistently clean and filled according to our established standards.
  • Efficiently sort and wash all types of dishware, including glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, utilizing both dishwashers and manual methods.
  • Assist the culinary team by cleaning large cooking equipment such as kettles and skillets.
  • Conduct routine cleaning tasks using approved cleaning agents to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Prevent slip and fall incidents by ensuring all food spills are promptly cleaned.
  • Organize and separate linens from other waste materials.
  • Guarantee that sanitized dishes and utensils are readily available for use.
  • Store clean dishes and cooking tools in designated areas.
  • Polish silverware and copper items to maintain their appearance.
  • Keep pots, pans, and other kitchen items organized and accessible.
  • Restock food and utensils in serving areas and storage facilities as needed.
  • Manage waste disposal by sorting and placing trash in the appropriate collection zones.
  • Handle all items with care to minimize breakage and loss.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times, reporting any incidents to the kitchen management immediately.
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed, including moving supplies and cleaning spills.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and management.
