Plasma Center Nurse

At BioLife Plasma Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plasma Center Nurse - LPN to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and the quality of the plasma we collect.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
- Manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results.
- Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER.
- High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy.
- Satisfactorily complete the FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
