Job Overview

This skilled position involves installing, configuring, and servicing Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, and CCTV Systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage electrical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and program fire alarm, security, and access control system panels
  • Respond to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Participate in after-hours service program
  • Communicate with central dispatch on current work order status
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer and contract specifications

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and operational manuals
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work in unusual positions
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overnight travel may be required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two-year Associates Degree in Electronics, Network, or Computer Science
  • NICET level II or ability to obtain in first year
