Member Services Representative

As a Member Services Representative at Nascentia Health, you will serve as the first point of contact for members and potential members, providing exceptional customer service and support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide General Program Information: Share knowledge of Nascentia Health's programs and services with callers, including prospective enrollees, families, caregivers, and community liaisons.
- Collect and Update Demographic Information: Gather and update demographic data for members, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Field Calls and Resolve Issues: Respond to member service requests, ask relevant questions, and document required information in computer systems.
- Communicate and Collaborate: Work with members and providers to resolve issues, using clear and simple language to ensure understanding.
- Meet Performance Goals: Achieve established performance goals in areas such as efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates in Communications, English, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills; exceptional customer service skills; accuracy and attention to detail; ability to handle large volumes of calls.
