About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Line/Prep Cook to join our team at Indian River Preserve Golf Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist the Executive Chef in planning menus with the club's Food and Beverage Director, ensuring consistency in food taste and presentation across all dishes.
- To prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for the line, following standard recipes and manufacturer's instructions for food preparation equipment.
- To ensure that all restaurant staff are familiar with key ingredients, preparation methods, and taste of all menu items, promoting excellent food quality and proper plate presentation.
- To work closely with the front-of-house service team to ensure expedient ticket times and excellent customer satisfaction.
- To conduct periodic inventories as needed, working within controls to minimize waste and prevent theft, and maintaining safe work practices and safe food handling standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, and prior completion of food safety coursework preferred.
- To meet the physical demands of the role, including walking, standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, and working near warm indoor conditions with occasional noise from kitchen equipment.

Estimated Salary
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
