We are seeking a highly skilled Global Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for managing our relationship with a large media company and driving revenue growth in the Media and Entertainment vertical market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business plan to drive revenue growth and adoption of AWS services within the account
  • Build strategic relationships with the customer's Business and IT Organizations to identify opportunities for improvement and drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, and Professional Services, to support customer interests and deliver business outcomes
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and develop formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS

Requirements
  • 7+ years of enterprise technology selling experience in large global accounts
  • 7+ years in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals as primary account owner
  • 3+ years working with a large media company in a cloud or SaaS technology role
  • A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
  • Experience managing large enterprise accounts within the industry
  • Familiarity with specific applications, workflows, and partner ecosystem
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
