This is a challenging opportunity to serve as the interim Chief of Plant Operations at the Department of State Hospitals. The successful candidate will work closely with management and project coordinators to prepare, develop, and write DSH budgetary project needs.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the maintenance operation of a State Hospital, ensuring the facility is well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
- Work independently, remain flexible, and reason logically to resolve complex problems.
- Communicate effectively with the public and administrative personnel, demonstrating good judgment and professionalism.
- Meet deadlines and work well under pressure, maintaining strict confidentiality when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Permanent civil service status, be reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility.
- Ability to work any shift and schedule, including overtime and floating to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.
- Background Investigation clearance prior to being hired.
- Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
