As the Welding Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our welding activities.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and motivating a team consisting of two welding shop supervisors and around 40 welders, fitters, and utility personnel.
  • Creating and executing advanced procedures and workflows to improve our welding operations.
  • Collaborating with various departments to meet production targets and drive continuous operational improvements.
  • Maintaining the highest standards in metal fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding, while working with aluminum and steel to comply with AWS specifications.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in manufacturing management, demonstrating a successful history of overseeing both direct and indirect reports.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or over 10 years of extensive manufacturing experience.
  • Skills: Profound knowledge in metal fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding, advanced fitting capabilities, and expertise in aluminum and steel welding according to AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency and the ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
