Role Overview

The Account Executive role is a critical component of our Group Benefit Solutions distribution organization. This position is responsible for managing business relationships with mid/large size clients (500-4,999 lives) and ensuring exceptional service to these clients and their local brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively drive growth (upselling and cross-selling) while maintaining profitability and retention
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize upsell penetration and achieve annual goals
  • Lead the renewal process, including census attainment, underwriting negotiations, and follow-up acceptance
  • Facilitate policy changes with underwriting on behalf of clients/brokers
  • Represent the company at industry events to build relationships and expand knowledge
  • Maintain compliance tracking in all relevant systems
  • Participate in new hire and ongoing training initiatives
  • Serve as a resource, mentor, and subject matter expert for internal teams and external partners

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • BA/BS degree preferred
