- Assist in personnel decisions, including hiring, promotions, and performance evaluations for paralegals.
- Lead the paralegal team by assigning projects, organizing workflows, and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Act as a liaison between paralegals and attorneys to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain prompt communication with clients and referral sources.
- Update case management systems with pertinent project details, deadlines, and reminders.
- Handle filings for new entities and amendments in compliance with state regulations, requiring minimal supervision.
- Request Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) efficiently, both online and through traditional methods.
- Draft foundational corporate documents for attorney review, including operating agreements and resolutions.
- Prepare demand letters and cease-and-desist communications for legal review.
- Complete applications for various governmental agencies, ensuring accuracy for attorney review.
- Draft term sheets for client agreements and Letters of Intent.
- Ensure flawless execution of documents by coordinating all parties involved.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills are essential.
- A bachelor's degree in management, finance, legal administration, or a related field is required; a master's degree is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with basic computer skills.
- A nationally recognized paralegal program certificate is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal, case management, or legal office management role is required.
