We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Tax practice at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and other mergers and acquisitions activities.
Responsibilities- Advise clients on tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and tax structuring services.
- Collaborate with senior members of the M&A Tax practice to deliver high-quality tax services to clients.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
- Manage and train staff-level team members to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service.
- Minimum five years of experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisitions in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, or other approved designations/credentials.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax matters and ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams.
