Healthcare Support Specialist

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join its team. As a member of the Department of Corrections, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to inmates while maintaining accountability in a safe and secure environment.

This Clinical Care Associate position offers a competitive salary range of $17.50-$23.08 per hour, with opportunities for advancement within the Department of Corrections. The successful candidate will possess a valid Virginia CNA license and demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, and ability to work effectively in a secure environment.

• Provide quality nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for inmates, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
• Observe, report, document, and communicate interventions, treatments, behaviors, emergent needs, and situations as they arise
• Support mental health and physical needs of inmates

Schedule: Full-time, varied shifts; up to 32 hours/week
