Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the examination area according to established protocols; ensure equipment is calibrated to meet institutional standards.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding imaging procedures; obtain necessary consent signatures.
  • Utilize appropriate exposure settings, compression techniques, and positioning to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Assess the adequacy of imaging procedures and determine if further imaging is warranted.
  • Deliver images, analytical data, and patient details to the physician for diagnostic evaluation.
  • Perform duties within the scope of training and expertise, adhering to the policies of Lakeland Premier Women's Clinic and relevant regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program with specialized training or certification in Mammography, or possess a four-year degree.
Experience:
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience and a valid state radiology registration as mandated by state regulations.
Additional Requirements:
  • Certification with the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists; Mammography certification is mandatory.
