Certification Requirements
  • REEGT Certification: Radiological Electroencephalography Technologist - ABRET or equivalent national registry is mandatory.
  • BLS Certification: Basic Life Support certification is essential.
  • CLTM Certification: Preferred but not required.
  • State License Verification: Necessary for compliance.
  • Tech Certification Verification: National verification is required.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Signature on the HIPAA Safety Manual is required.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP.
Position Overview
  • Staffing Needs: Two EEG technicians needed for day shifts in an Inpatient EMU.
  • Shift Structure: Three consecutive 12-hour shifts along with one non-consecutive weekend shift per month.
  • Time Off: Eight consecutive days off each month; on-call approximately 1-2 times per contract (Friday to Monday); potential for one holiday shift.
Experience Requirements
  • Professional Background: A minimum of 3 years of experience in neurodiagnostic technology is required.
  • Certification Requirements: REEGT Certification and BLS certification are mandatory.
  • Preferred Qualifications: CLTM certification is advantageous.
Work Schedule
  • Shift Details: Three consecutive 12-hour shifts and one non-consecutive weekend shift each month.
  • On-Call Duties: Approximately 1-2 times per contract (Friday to Monday).
  • Holiday Coverage: Potential for one holiday shift.
Additional Information
  • Identification: Proof of I-9 or Attestation is required.
  • Photo ID: A government-issued photo ID must be carried at all times during service hours.
  • Compliance: Valid government-issued photo ID is necessary while on assignment.
  • E-Verify: Proof of E-Verify or Attestation is required.
  • Compact License: Verification is necessary if the nurse is working under a compact license.
  • Certifications: As required, ARC, AHA, or United States Department of Defense certifications only.
