Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As an EEG Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Neurodiagnostic department.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct EEG procedures on patients of all ages, from infants to adults, to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders.
  • Operate and maintain EEG equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement plans for patient care, including EEG procedures and follow-up care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, with a strong background in EEG procedures.
  • Current certification as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • CLTM certification preferred.
  • State license verification required.
  • Tech cert verification - National.
  • HIPAA safety manual signature.
  • NURSYS verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP).
Work Schedule
  • 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts and 1 non-consecutive weekend shift per month.
  • Call approximately 1-2 times per contract (Friday - Monday).
  • Potentially 1 holiday shift.
Additional Requirements
  • Proof of I-9 or attestation.
  • Government-issued photo ID required.
  • Must carry a valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
  • Proof of E-Verify or attestation.
  • Please require if nurse is working on a compact license.
  • As required. ARC, AHA, or United States Department of Defense only.
