Senior Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate ultrasound equipment to make quality images and perform studies in required modalities.
- Provide training and guidance to Ultrasound Technology students.
- Maintain equipment in proper functioning order and perform predetermined, preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
- Evaluate images for quality and interpret findings for physicians and the healthcare team.
- Present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
- Associate's Degree (Two years of college) and completion of one year program in Ultrasound.
- Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program.
- Registered by ARDMS.
- Five years ultrasound experience.
