Senior Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to make quality images and perform studies in required modalities.
- Provide training and guidance to Ultrasound Technology students.
- Maintain equipment in proper functioning order and perform predetermined, preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
- Evaluate images for quality and interpret findings, presenting them to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
- Associate's Degree (Two years of college) and completion of one year program in Ultrasound.
- Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program.
- Registered by ARDMS.
- Five years ultrasound experience.
