Position OverviewThis School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential therapy services to students with communication disorders.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with knowledge of speech and language development in children.
Responsibilities- Assist in assessments and implement therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Facilitate group sessions and document progress
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Competitive compensation package: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
