Job Summary

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Department of Surgery in the Division of Otolaryngology with a primary interest in Otology and Neurotology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and clinical services in the field of Otology and Neurotology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services in the Department of Surgery.
  • Participate in resident and medical student education, including teaching and mentoring.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities, including publication and presentation of research findings.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to advance the mission of the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates.
Requirements
  • Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
  • Eligibility for DC, Maryland, and Virginia medical licensure.
  • Completion of a 2-year GME-accredited Neurotology fellowship.
  • Documented clinical experience as evidenced by residency and fellowship clinical case logs and faculty references.
  • Excellence in teaching, research, and clinical care as evidenced by teaching evaluations, scholarly publications, and professional references.
