Nurse Care Specialist

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, following physician's orders and adhering to state and federal regulations. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, leading and guiding nursing assistants, and assisting physicians with rounds. You will also be responsible for maintaining infection control measures and adhering to cleanliness and standard precautions. Additionally, you will assist with research related to quality of care and participate in in-service training and staff meetings. If you are a compassionate and dedicated nurse with a genuine interest in geriatric nursing, we encourage you to apply.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians and according to facility policies.
- Lead and guide nursing assistants to ensure quality care is provided.
- Assist physicians with rounds and maintain infection control measures.
- Participate in research related to quality of care and in-service training.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification and ability to work well with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to make decisions regarding nursing problems and work well under pressure.
