Staff Development Coordinator

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing management team, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of excellence and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement staff development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
  • Act as the primary instructor for the Nurse Aide Training Program and provide ongoing education and training to staff.
  • Coordinate and schedule in-house in-service training for all staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to review incident reports and develop strategies to improve patient care.
  • Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a current, valid RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Five years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting, with a focus on geriatric nursing.
  • Ability to teach, instruct, and direct orientation, continuing education, and in-services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • CPR certification and ability to maintain current certification.
