Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Williamsburg Landing. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Round on assigned residents to ensure their safety and implement their care plans
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure resident needs are met
  • Perform professional nursing tasks and procedures, including venipuncture and intravenous therapy
  • Order labs and medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Investigate incidents and complete incident reports
  • Document resident observations, changes in condition, and response to care
  • Maintain and update care plans as necessary
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, guests, and staff
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Two years of nursing experience in an acute care or long-term care setting
  • Ability to read and write effectively in English
  • Ability to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner within one year of hire
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
