Role: Power Platform and SharePoint Specialist

Location: Remote

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement solutions utilizing SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
  • Oversee migration initiatives from outdated systems to various iterations of SharePoint.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
  • Employ PowerShell for automation and management functions.
  • Facilitate SharePoint migrations using tools such as ShareGate.
  • Create workflows and solutions with SharePoint Designer.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues within the SharePoint ecosystem.
  • Manage multiple applications and projects concurrently.
  • Generate thorough documentation and conduct detailed analyses.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive development experience with SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
  • Demonstrated success in migrating from legacy systems to SharePoint.
  • Proficient in crafting design documentation.
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration tools, particularly ShareGate.
  • Competent in SharePoint Designer.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Farm architectures, Office 365, and SaaS solutions.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities within SharePoint environments.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and applications simultaneously.
  • Strong documentation and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work evening shifts.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp and convey technical information.
  • Willingness to take ownership of client issues until resolution.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Knowledge of Exchange and Teams.
  • Proficiency in web development technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, and SQL Server.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Overall experience of 8-10 years, with 4 to 5 years managing a large-scale O365 hybrid environment.
  • Certification in Power Platform.
  • A Master's degree and Microsoft Certification are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in Microsoft Office 365 administration and troubleshooting is essential.
