Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Residence Director to join our team at Seven Hills Foundation. As a key member of our residential support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and independence of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Residence Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned residence, including direct care, staff supervision, and program leadership.
  • Provide on-the-job training to professionals seeking a future operations management role with Seven Hills Foundation.
  • Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and strategies as written, and monitor and maintain individual's ISP program book to ensure data collection occurs at frequency stated.
  • Respond effectively to potential safety hazards and emergencies, and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
  • Assist with safeguarding sensitive and confidential data, and participate in supervision meetings with the Residence Director.
Requirements
  • Commitment to assisting people with developmental disabilities to participate fully in the life of their community.
  • Safe passenger vehicle and good driving record, adequate insurance, driver's license required.
  • Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
  • Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer, or school history).
  • Ability to work as part of a team: positive and constructive.
  • Prior direct care experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy/proficiency preferred.
  • High school graduate or GED with relevant experience; college experience or enrollment preferred.
