About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Program Management Specialist for the Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) division, focusing on significant cross-functional initiatives that influence the entire engineering landscape at Envoy. This role will involve close collaboration with product management, engineering leaders, and stakeholders across diverse teams to drive program execution. As a seasoned Program Manager, you will define and enhance the planning processes across the organization, improving operational efficiency by providing clear metrics to leadership. You will collaborate with senior executives to identify key objectives and projects for each quarter and work alongside engineering teams to ensure effective execution and timely delivery.
Previous Program Managers in this role have established Envoy's incident management protocols with the Customer Support team, developed the release management process for EPD, and created an engineering onboarding curriculum. They have also spearheaded the migration of our cloud infrastructure for over 100 services, involving more than 10 engineering teams.

This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days a week.
Your Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and refine processes to ensure the successful execution of various Product Development initiatives in a dynamic environment.
- Lead cross-functional programs, defining scope, key milestones, schedules, and resource allocations. Develop communication strategies for your programs and effectively convey goals and progress to stakeholders and executives.
- Proactively identify potential issues and devise risk mitigation strategies.
- Build strong partnerships with business, product, design, and engineering leaders to facilitate the delivery of high-impact work.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of challenges and dependencies while collaborating with engineering teams.
- 4+ years of experience in a technology-focused career, with at least 2-3 years in a program management capacity overseeing organization-wide projects.
- A proven history of collaborating with engineers to resolve complex cross-team challenges.
- Demonstrated success in managing intricate cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adept at problem-solving with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with customizing and managing issues in JIRA.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies.
