Key Responsibilities
  • Process Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Melt Department processes, including the operation of induction furnaces and the handling of molten metal.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to effectively collaborate with the Melt Team and provide guidance as needed.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all activities, including the addition of alloys, sampling, and adjustments based on results.
  • Training and Development: Complete required training, including forklift and crane operation, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment, to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Aptitude for providing guidance to the Melt Team.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • Capability to work in high-temperature environments with molten metal.
