Position Summary:

The role of Consumer Direct Representative is an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking temporary to full-time employment. In this position, you will serve as a key contact for our customers, consumers, or florists, representing Teleflora with professionalism and care. If you enjoy assisting and engaging with people but lack call center experience, we offer comprehensive training. Our supportive and friendly team fosters a positive work environment, making each holiday enjoyable with various activities and celebrations. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week during daytime hours, with the added benefit of hybrid scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and process orders or messages for our member shops during off-hours or when their lines are redirected to us.
  • Assist customers with existing orders, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving any concerns.
  • Investigate and address credit card issues and customer inquiries.
  • Make outbound calls to our floral partners to place orders, ensuring successful order fulfillment.
  • Achieve or surpass daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service, call centers, or the floral industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills - friendly, courteous, and attentive - with strong active listening abilities.
  • Proficient written communication, accurate spelling, and oral skills to compose card messages, document notes, and input precise order information.
  • Ability to articulate clearly with good diction and grammar, effectively conveying product features and benefits.
  • Capacity to make independent decisions within established guidelines.
  • Basic proficiency in math, computer usage, and keyboarding is required.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and navigate between multiple browser windows.
  • Required Equipment:
    • A desktop or laptop with at least Windows 10 operating system.
    • A headset with a microphone.
    • A strong internet connection with a minimum download speed of 5Mbps.
  • Incompatible Equipment:
    • Mac, Chromebook, Windows 7, tablets, or cell phones.
    • No satellite or HughesNet connections.
