Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator provides leadership through collaboration with the Director/Designee, planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing theory and practice, as well as the ability to articulate and demonstrate knowledge of patient care information systems.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and charge nurse responsibilities
- Assume a leadership role with the healthcare team in planning and delivery of patient care
- Utilize and coach others in the nursing process
- Conduct analysis of statistical reports using database, spreadsheet, and word processing skills
- Educate, coach, and mentor staff using adult learning principles
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure
- Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelors degree in health related field required
- Graduate of a certified school of nursing
- Demonstrated competence with patient care information systems
- Strong planning, analytical, and written skills
