At BayCare Health System, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Renal team, working nights at Morton Plant Hospital.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse - Renal - Nights will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions. This role requires a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards to deliver high-quality care.
- Delegate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Assume responsibility for professional accountability and development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
- Perform the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned, mentoring and guiding colleagues to achieve excellence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- RN (Registered Nurse) licensure.
- ACLS (Cardiovascular) certification, if required by the department.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Required: 1 year of RN Acute Care experience or 6 months of RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
