Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Renal team at Morton Plant Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Delegate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Take on the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned, mentoring and guiding colleagues to achieve excellence in patient care.
  • Direct contact with patients, providing personal care, assistance, and supervision as required.

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RN (Registered Nurse)
  • ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
  • Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

  • Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
  • Preferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience:

  • Required experience includes 1 year RN Acute Care experience
  • OR 6 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.

Location: Morton Plant Hospital

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
