About the Role:
Cottonwood Residential is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading by example and setting the standard for efficient property maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance team in efficiently maintaining the property, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize resident satisfaction.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments, including leasing and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of resident issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance expenses and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with a focus on leadership and team management.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving results-oriented initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
